I am a Legal Secretary in Brighton and I have had this Legal Secretary Job for a few months. I thought that I would use this opportunity to give some advise to people who are thinking about becoming a Legal Secretary. I got the job after being a Secretary for a long-time in London.
Following redundancy, Karen took a Souters Legal Secretary Course so that she could move into the legal field. She used her budget fro her redundancy to find the CPD Accredited Legal Secretary Course and from that point she never looked back.
Finding a Legal Secretary Job
Karen sign onto a CPD Accredited Legal Secretary Diploma at Souters Training in London. She was quickly able to find a job at a Solicitor’s office near Brighton and avoid the difficult commute to London. This is exactly the result she was looking for.

What was your job prior to your Course?
PA to the Managing Director at a firm of Accountants, but I was made redundant. I decided the best thing was to look into getting a new career.
What is your job now?
I now work at a Solicitor’s firm close to home. It is near to Brighton. I got the job because I had completed the CPD Accredited Legal Secretary Diploma in London.
How did you hear of Souters?
I was recommended by a friends for it being a well-established Legal Secretary

The course helped greatly in giving me a qualification and skills to assist in making that career change. The course gave me the confidence. I actually was straight into this new job after being made redundant.
What would you advise anyone who is thinking of taking the course?
Just go for it. Make that move and take the Course. The investment is small considering how much it can improve your job options or give you that leap up your career ladder.
